as a united fan I can't see them winning today and will be happy as hell with a draw. Mourinho has not lost a home match in 110 games and Fergie has only defeated him 1 out of 12 times they've played.
add to this the horrible defensive issues that united have for today and I can't see them winning. Inter PK seems like the play. Hopefully O'Shea can go in central defense but, if not, Evra must move over. Of course neither are a good replacement for Vidic in the middle. If O'shea can go then Evra, Rio, O'shea, and probably Fletcher will be the back 4
United were always going to have to do without Nemanja Vidic, who is suspended as a consequence of his red card against Liga de Quito in the Club World Cup final in Yokohama, Japan, in December, but Ferguson’s options have been further reduced by an untimely spate of injuries.
Wes Brown has been ruled out for around a month with a damaged metatarsal and Gary Neville (virus/muscle problem) is unavailable, while there are also serious doubts about the fitness of John O’Shea (heel) and Jonny Evans, who limped out of United’s 2-1 victory at home to Blackburn Rovers in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday with a recurrence of an ankle injury that recently kept him out for 3½ weeks. To compound matters, James Chester, 20, United’s only other fit, recognised centre half, who is on a month’s loan at Peterborough United, has not been included in United’s Champions League squad and so cannot be called upon.
